2012 Chevrolet Sonic Recalled

General Motors has decided to recall 4,873 units of 2012 Chevrolet Sonic subcompact cars in the United States and Canada. The recall is due to missing front brake pads. Fortunately, there were no crashes or injuries due to the issue so far. Owner of these affected cars will be informed of the recall from January 14th, 2012 onwards. General Motors Co. has decided to recall 6,006 units of the new Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. The recall covers 2011 and 2012 models in the United States and Canada. The carmaker explains that the issue that was discovered in early September 2011 could allow the rear hatch to separate from the vehicle in an accident. General Motors will start to produce the Cadillac Converj, which will probably take a few years to reach dealer showrooms. FYI, the Cadillac Converj is a concept car that was introduced at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and made its West Coast debut at the 2009 Orange County Auto Show.
