Here’s the first Volkswagen Golf R video showing the car going head to head in a race against the Volkswagen Scirocco R. As a reminder, the Golf R is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder engine with 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson from Fifth Gear has made a review video of the new Volkswagen Golf GTD based on the sixth iteration of the mode. For your info, the Golf GTD is powered by a 2.0-liter common rail TDI engine that generates 170 PS and 258 lbs ft of torque allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.2 seconds with a top speed of 138 mph.
