Volkswagen has showcased their newest hatchback/wagon ‘Gran Lavida’ at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show. Based on the Lavida compact sedan, the Lavida Gran will come in three different engine options including two naturally aspirated gasoline 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter four cylinder mills, and a turbocharged 1.4-liter TSI engine. The all new Volkswagen Golf GTD has just been priced in the UK. First introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show last month, the Golf GTD is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged common rail diesel engine that outputs 184 hp and 380 Nm of torque. Kia has unveiled the all new pro_cee’d GT hatchback. Designed in Europe, the pro_cee’d GT comes with a bold athletic styling, distinctive LED daytime running lights, dual-exhaust pipes, Recaro seating, a set of 18-inch alloy wheels and eye-catching red brake calipers. Underneath, power comes from a 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI petrol engine (w/ a six-speed manual transmission) that generates 201 bhp and 265 Nm of torque.
