
Jaguar has recently revealed the new 2010 XFR at the Detroit Auto Show 2009. The XFR is powered by the all-new supercharged 510PS (510bhp SAE) V8 with acceleration from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds making it the ultimate Jaguar sport saloon. The model has improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions which meet the forthcoming EU5 emissions legislation. Distinguished by unique exterior and interior design features, the XFR includes revised bumpers and lower front air intakes, sill extensions, bonnet louvres and grilles, four tailpipes, a boot-lid spoiler, unique seats and 20-inch alloy wheels. Jaguar’s new sports sedan ‘XF’ claims to be the first expression of Jaguar’s new design language in a four-door car, showing a strong family resemblance to the XK coupe but with comfortable seating for five and more than 300 litres of boot space. Powered by 4,196cc supercharger engine with 420 horsepower, the XF SV8 model can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds. The XF also comes with anti-lock brakes, electronic brake assist with electronic brake pressure distribution, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, and engine drag torque control to prevent the rear wheels locking under deceleration.
