Kia Ceed Facelift Teaser

Kia has released the first teaser image of their upcoming Ceed Facelift. As seen from the picture, the car features a re-designed front grill, a new headlights and a new front spoiler with rectangular fog lights. No other information is given at the moment, but from what we heard the car is likely to hit showrooms this fall after its official public debut at the IAA Auto Show in Frankfurt. [Zercustoms]

Kia Forte Koup Sports Sedan

Kia Motors has unveiled their new sports sedan ‘Forte Koup’ for the Korean market. Based on the concept car ‘Koup’, this four-passenger coupe is powered by a 2.0-liter Theta II turbocharged engine with 156 horsepower and features a 13.6km/liter of fuel consumption, sport cloth bucket seats and a lighting speaker. Early Look: 2010 Kia VG Concept

2010 Kia VG Concept

The first image of the upcoming 2010 Kia VG concept has appeared on the net. The car will make its debut at the Seoul Motor Show later this week. The VG concept is another sedan to use the popular coupe like design and features a 3.5-liter V6 Lambda engine mated to a six-speed transmission. Production version will be seen in September at Kia’s home market with a north American arrival in Spring, 2010. [LeftLane]

Kia Forte LPI Hybrid

Kia has just introduced its first mass production hybrid model based on the new Forte compact sedan in its home market of South Korea. Dubbed as the Forte LPI Hybrid, the car uses a 1.6L Liquefied Petroleum Injected (LPI) engine producing 114 horsepower. An electric motor which is powered by a lithium polymer battery pack adds an additional 20 horsepower for a total of 134 horsepower. Kia claims the Forte LPI Hybrid is capable of about 40.5 mpg, which would put it on pace with other hybrids on the market. The car will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show next week.
