Land Rover has announced the availability of their new crossover ‘Range Rover Evoque’ in India. Available in both five-door and three-door versions, the Range Rover Evoque is being offered in three different trim levels including Pure, Prestige and Dynamic along with two different engine options: a 2.0-liter 240 hp gasoline unit and a 2.2-liter 190 hp turbodiesel unit. The Land Rover Defender DC100 concept will make its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The company confirms that the production version of the Defender DC100 will be launched in 2015. The concept is part of a four-year plan for the company to create the perfect, modern-day Defender for the 21st century. Too bad, there is no further info about this upcoming car. [Land Rover]
Land Rover today unveiled the 2012 Defender model range, which will go on sale in the UK from November 2011. The 2012 Land Rover Defender is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine that meets the EU5 emissions standard and develops 122PS at 3,500rpm and 360Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. The top speed of the 2.2-liter 2012 Defender is rated at 90 mph. The CO2 emissions of the Land Rover Defender 2012 model range are rated at 266g/km for the 90 and 295g/km for the 110 and 130. The 2012 Land Rover Defender price list starts at 20,995 GBP($34,155) on-the-road for the 90 Pick Up model and goes up to 32,295 GBP($52,539) for the 110 XS Station Wagon version. [Zercustoms]
The new STARTECH Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting features various cosmetic upgrades such as a bright white exterior paint job and a navy blue leather/ Alcantara interior that includes the foot wells and trunk clad. The land rover also uses 265/75 R 16 tires and features an SVX front grille and headlight covers. Additional features include Recaro sport seats and a re-styled side panels, dashboard, and center console that are now covered in the same navy blue Alcantara and leather combination. Arden has recently showed off their latest styling package ‘Arden AR6′ for the 2010 Range Rover. This crossover receives a new wide body kit which consists of a front bumper with LED daytime running lights, a handmade stainless steel grille, wider fenders and side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper and a set of 22-inch ten spoke wheels.
