Nissan has introduced their latest hybrid car, the 2012 Lexus LS 600h L. Coming in a Nebula Gray Pearl paint finish, this luxury sedan is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine and two electric motors, with one motor being used as an engine starter, while the other offering propulsion. Lexus Australia CEO, Tony Cramb has confirmed that the 2012 Lexus GS 350 will go on sale in Australia in the first half of next year (around May/June 2012). According to him, the GS 350 will be powered by a 3.5-liter all-alloy V6 engine (w/ a six-speed sequential automatic transmission with paddle shifters), producing 233kW of power and 376Nm of torque. Lexus today unveiled the official LS 600h Landaulet, which will be used by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Carlene Wittstock as their official royal wedding car on July 2, 2011. The Lexus LS 600h Landaulet features a special one-piece transparent polycarbonate roof, a Kevlar bodyshell and carbon fiber honeycomb structures.
