Lexus is set to introduce its first compact hybrid model ‘CT 200h’ at next week’s Geneva Motor Show. This new hatchback is powered by a 1.8-liter VVT-i petrol engine paired to an electric motor, and comes with an E-CVT transmission that offers three different driving modes including ECO, SPORT and NORMAL. Lexus has recently announced the MSRPs for its second generation luxury SUV, the 2010 Lexus GX460. This 7-seater SUV is available in two different trim levels: the base model for $51,970, and the premium model for $56,765. Meanwhile, power comes from a 4.6-liter V8 engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift that is capable of producing 301 hp and 329 lb-ft of torque. The car also comes with new additional standard features such as heated and ventilated front seats, 10 airbags, rear back-up camera (without Navigation), Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) and full-time four-wheel drive. The 2010 Lexus GX460 will make its North American debut at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show in December. [Autoevolution]
