The Lexus LF-LC Blue Concept has been introduced at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. The car features a sculpted aluminum and carbon-fiber body and a hybrid-drive system that outputs 498 horsepower. Nissan has introduced their latest hybrid car, the 2012 Lexus LS 600h L. Coming in a Nebula Gray Pearl paint finish, this luxury sedan is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine and two electric motors, with one motor being used as an engine starter, while the other offering propulsion. Performance-wise, the engine is able to produce 438 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque, allowing the car to reach 0 to 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds. The picture above is the 2011 model. [Autoevolution]

2012-Lexus-GS-350

Lexus Australia CEO, Tony Cramb has confirmed that the 2012 Lexus GS 350 will go on sale in Australia in the first half of next year (around May/June 2012). According to him, the GS 350 will be powered by a 3.5-liter all-alloy V6 engine (w/ a six-speed sequential automatic transmission with paddle shifters), producing 233kW of power and 376Nm of torque.
