
Lotus is preparing to showcase their newest supercar ‘Elite’ at this year’s Paris Motor Show. Coming in 2+2 seating configuration, this compact supercar is equipped with 5.0-liter V8 engine that outputs 620 PS and 720 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, top speed is rated at 315 km/h with 0 to 100 km/h comes in between 3.5 to 3.7 seconds. The all new Evora S has just been unveiled by Lotus. This sports car is equipped with a mid mounted, transverse 3.5-liter DOHC V6 VVT-I engine paired to a 6 speed manual transmission that produces 350 PS and 295 lb ft of torque. In terms of performance, the car can get from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 172mph. The Lotus Evora S will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show on September 30th. The Lotus Exos T125 is a limited edition F1-styled race car. Priced at a hefty $1 million each, the Lotus Exos T125 can run for 4500 km before it will need a rebuild. They also have eliminated the need for a crew as the car is fitted with an electric starter motor. Roger Becker, former Director of Vehicle Engineering for Lotus is celebrated with a series of special edition versions of the final run of European specification 1.8 liter Elise and Exige sports cars. Becker retired in January 2010 after 44 years of service and to honor his input on Lotus vehicles, the company is offering a special-edition Elise and Exige known as the RGB Special Edition. The Elise SC RGB Special Edition has a supercharged 217 hp (220 ps) 1.8 liter engine which accelerate it from 0 to 60mph in 4.3 seconds (0 to 100kmh in 4.6 seconds). The Lotus Exige S RGB Special Edition uses the range topping 257 (260ps) supercharged and intercooled 1.8 liter engine which endows it with a 0-60 mph in around 4 seconds and a phenomenal aerodynamic downforce figure of 92.5 lbs (42 kg) at 100 mph (160 kmh).
