
The all new 2011 Mercedes-Benz R350 CDI LWB (Long Wheelbase) has just been introduced in Australia. Due to be out in March, this luxury SUV is powered by a new 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine that produces 195kW of power and 620Nm of torque (0 to 100km/h in just 7.7 seconds). The all new Mercedes CLS63 AMG has just been priced in Europe. The car will go on sale in Europe this March for a starting price of 97,350 Euro (about $14,775). In case you didn’t know, the Mercedes CLS63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter biturbo engine that has been tuned to produce 525 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Speedriven has unleashed their latest performance package for the Mercedes-Benz S600. Priced at $8,840 (excluding installation costs), the package consists of water-air-intercoolers, high-flow air induction kits and a revised engine computer. Having this new performance package under the hood, the 5.5-liter V12 twin-turbo engine can now produce 518kW of power and 1138Nm of torque (an increase of 138kW and 308Nm), allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 in under four seconds. The German tuner BRABUS has unveiled their latest styling package for the Mercedes SLS AMG. Dubbed as the Widestar Mercedes SLS AMG, this supercar gets a new carbon fiber body kit which includes a front spoiler, a rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, wide body paneling for the fenders featuring air dams and side outlets. Mercedes-Benz has recently launched their newest multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in Australia, the 2011 Mercedes-Benz R 300 CDI. This short wheel base vehicle comes with a new grille, fully integrated, rectangular Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a new rear bumper, modified taillights and a set of 20-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.
