First Color Morphing Car in Singapore

That’s right! BMW’s MINI division will release its first color morphing car in Singapore this June 2009. Dubbed as the Mini Chameleon, the car changes color according to weather conditions. The car’s paint brightens on a rainy day to improve visibility, meanwhile it lightens to reflect heat and cool down the vehicle on a sunny day. The Mini Chameleon adopts FeintPaint technology that uses tiny magnetic iron oxide particles, which can interact with a low grade magnetic field to change the color in seconds. [Luxury Insider]
