Chevrolet Unveils Spin Minivan

Chevrolet today unveiled the all-new Spin minivan. Measuring 171-inch x 68-inch x 65-inch, the van is available in either a five-seater with two rows of seats or a seven-seater with three rows. The Chevrolet Spin is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine (gasoline or ethanol), which is rated at up to 108 horsepower. Renault Frendzy Minivan Pure-Electric Concept At Frankfurt Motor Show

Renault has unveiled the Frendzy minivan concept at the 64th International Frankfurt Motor Show. Measuring 4091mm x 1872mm x 1743mm, this pure-electric car features a conventional door and a sliding door with a 37-inch widescreen display. What makes the Frendzy interesting is that it has an integrated BlackBerry PlayBook tablet that controls the external screen. 2011 Buick GL8 Unveiled

Buick has recently unveiled the 2011 GL8 minivan for the Chinese market. The GL8 features distinctive headlights, a waterfall grille, and faux porthole vents. The seven-passenger cabin is elegantly appointed with a wrap-around dashboard, blue ambient lighting, wood trim, and tasteful metallic accents. Several options include two-tone leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, power-sliding doors, a Bose audio system and a rear seat entertainment system with a 10.2-inch screen. The 2011 Buick GL8 is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder Ecotec or a 3.0-liter V6 SIDI. Both models are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The all new 2011 Honda Odyssey has just been priced in the US. This new minivan will be available in five different trim levels including LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite along with two different transmission options: 5-speed automatic and 6-speed automatic. Underneath, power will come from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 248 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque.
