Mitsubishi is reportedly preparing to showcase their newest concept car at the upcoming 42nd Tokyo Motor Show. Known as the Concept PX-MiEV II, this plug-in hybrid is said to come with a 2.0-liter MIVEC four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 95PS and two 90PS electric motors, one on each axle. Mitsubishi has introduced the new 2012 Mitsubishi Shogun in the UK. This 2012 model year Shogun is available in four different trim levels including SG2, Warrior, SG3 and SG4, and is equipped with a Euro V diesel engine. Other highlights include a new chrome grille with slotted bars and thick dividers on either sides, fresh color-coded front bumper, black front skid plate and black roof rails, and comes with a set of 18-inch alloy rims. The 2014 Mitsubishi Evo XI will be powered by a combination of a diesel engine and an electric motor. This hybrid engine enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in less than 5 seconds. Mitsubishi has launched another limited edition vehicle ’2011 Mitsubishi Pajero RX’ for the Australian market. Based on the GLX model, the RX is equipped with a chrome grille, a bumper protector, fog lamps with chrome inserts, chrome mirrors and door handles, integrated side steps with front mud guards and silver front skid plate, rear spoiler, rear bumper highlights, silver roof rails, RX badging and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the car gets privacy glass, titanium-look instrument surrounds and power window switches, an alloy gear shift selector, chrome door handles, sun visor extensions and vanity mirror lamps. Power itself comes from a 3.2-liter diesel engine with 147kW and 441Nm.
