
The new 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR has been unveiled at the “Night of Champions” party in Weissach. The updated model features a new front lip spoiler, wider front wheels, an optimized rear wing, a modified rear fascia and LED taillights. Russian tuner Met-R has unveiled their new tuning program for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Known as the Porsche Cayenne Radical Star, the package consists of an aggressive front fascia, wheel arch extensions (which add 100mm in width) and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. The twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine has been tweaked to produce 564PS (415kW/ 556hp). The Radical Star package is currently available for 780,000 Rubles ($25,260). [Motorward]

After years of speculation, Porsche has officially confirmed the entry-level Cajun crossover. Designed to attract new and younger customers, the Cajun will be based on the Audi Q5 and feature styling influenced by VW design boss Walter de’ Silva. Porsche has showcased their newest mid-engine coupe at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Called the Cayman R, this two-seater is powered by a tuned-up 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual gearbox that outputs a total of 330 hp. Meanwhile, top speed is rated at 282 km/h with 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds. The Cayman R is scheduled to go on sale from February 2011 for around 69,830 Euro (about $95,200). [AUSmotive]

Kubatech Germany has unveiled a new Stage II tuning kit for the Porsche Carrera GT. The new tuning kit adds an extra 48hp (36kW) and 52Nm (38 lb-ft) of torque to this sports car. The German firm achieved this by modifying the engine management system and fitting a new Cargraphic sport exhaust system. The Stage II kit also helps increases the GT’s top speed, from the standard model’s 330 km/h (205 mph) to 343 km/h (213 mph).
