As a reminder, the Golf R is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder engine with 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Volkswagen has finally revealed the production version of their new 2010 Scirocco R. Under the hood, the car uses a modified version of the previous Golf GTI’s 2.0-liter engine and capable of producing 265 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is matted to either a standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional dual-clutch DSG gearbox. 0-100 km/h can be reached in just 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. Volkswagen is set to release their new Tiguan R Line in UK this summer. The basis for the new R Line is the Sport model that features a new body-colored front splitter below the front bumper, a unique matte chrome grille section, blistered wheel arches and 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Under the hood, the car is powered by either a 2.0-liter TDI common rail diesel engine or a 2.0-liter TSI engine. The Tiguan R Line will hit UK dealers in June, with prices ranging from £24,635 for the less powerful TDI rising to £26,305 for TSI engine. More»
