This Maserati Quattroporte race car will compete in the European 2009 Superstars Series with ex-Formula One driver Andrea Chiesa at the wheel. The car has been made lighter than the standard version and weighs only 1.430 kg, but the Quattroporte’s bodywork is unchanged from production spec except for some minor aerodynamic changes. Power comes from a 4.2-liter V8 engine that delivers 450 hp and the engine is coupled with a sequential gearbox. The Superstar Series will be held at Imola starting on April 19, 2009. [WorldCarFans]
