
Rolls-Royce has decided to recall 589 units of 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost models, which are manufactured between September 2009 and September 2010. The recall is due to a failure of an electric auxiliary water pump that can result in a fire. Rolls-Royce’s dealers will replace the auxiliary water pump for free. Rolls Royce has designed its first electric-powered prototype vehicle, the Rolls Royce 102EX. This concept car will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st, 2011. The new car will go through extensive testing in 2011 but Rolls-Royce said they have no immediate plans to develop a production version. Stay tuned for more updates. [Geeky Gadgets]

Mansory has finally unveiled the performance package for the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Dubbed as the White Ghost Limited, the package features a revised front bumper, restyled side skirts, front fender vents, a modified rear apron, a trunk-mounted spoiler, additional LED daytime running lights, and 22-inch wheels with Dunlop SP SportMaxx tires. Meanwhile, the cabin is outfitted with leather/ Alcantara upholstery, a sports steering wheel, bamboo wood trim, and LED ambient lighting. The Mansory White Ghost Limited also features a revised ECU and a high performance exhaust system, which enable the twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 to produce 638PS (469kW/ 629hp) and 860Nm (634lb-ft) of torque. Fifth Gear has rolled out a new review video of the Rolls Royce Ghost. In this video you’ll see the car being tested on public roads by TV presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson. To remind you, this luxurious sedan is equipped with a 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 engine that generates 570 PS and 780 Nm of torque. RR Ghost was once known as the 200EX / RR4 at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has confirmed primary specifications for Ghost, their new model which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. At the core, the 6,6 Liter Turbo-Charged V-12 will generate 563 HP & 575 Lbs/Ft of torque, delivering 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds / 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Currently the top speed is capped at 155 Mph. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has confirmed further details about the production version of 200EX, the luxury concept car shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The 200EX/RR4 will be powered by a brand new 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 engine that develops 500hp. The engine will be combined with an 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox.
