2012 Mazda3 Facelift

Mazda has just released a flurry of new information about the 2012 Mazda3. The car has been outfitted with a new front fascia, a revised grille, round fog lights, restyled wheels, unique headlights, a metallic blue engine cover and the obligatory badging. The sedan is powered by a new Skyactiv-G petrol engine with a six-speed manual transmission that develops 155hp (116kW/ 157PS) and 148lb-ft (200Nm) of torque. This engine configuration enables the Mazda3 sedan to return 27mpg city/ 39mpg highway. [YesYesCar]

45th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camaro

A special edition Chevrolet Camaro has been introduced to commemorate the car’s 45th anniversary. Available as a 2012 model, the 45th anniversary edition Chevrolet Camaro features 20-inch dark silver wheels, dark silver trim for the fog lamps and taillight bezels, HID headlights, a jet black interior with red, white, and blue stitching on the car’s seats, white gauges, and a 45th Anniversary hood and desk stripes. Horsepower will also be increased to feature 323-hp, 11 more than last year’s 3.6L V6. That extra output comes from a new LSX engine that is also 20 lbs lighter than its predecessor. Citroen has released a teaser image of the new DS5, which will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18th, 2011. Citroen describes the DS5 as having a daring and sculptural design, involving bold choices on styling, architecture, sensations and refinement. Hyundai Recalls More Than 280,000 Elantras Due To Air-Bag Problems

Hyundai has decided to recall more than 280,000 Elantra sedans because of air-bag related problems. The first recall covers approximately 95,783 Elantras from the 2007-2008 manufactured from July 14, 2006, through August 29, 2007. The second recall affects around 188,697 cars from the 2007-2009 built from July 14, 2006, through November 1, 2008. Both Elantra recalls are expected to begin during April 2011. Lotus will introduce the Lotus Evora customized by Mansory at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. As we see in the picture above, the Mansory Lotus Evora has various carbon fiber aerodynamic parts, including a front spoiler lip, front air intakes surrounds, side skirts, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and a rear wing.
