
The North American version of the revised Nissan GT-R supercar will make its first public appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, 2010. The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 features a 440-horsepower Hi-Po 302 4V Ti-VCT V8 engine, adjustable front and rear shocks, quad exhausts, Brembo brakes, and an optional Laguna Seca package that removes the rear seat to add a stabilizer brace. Lamborghini has collaborated with the Swiss luxury watchmaker Blancpain to create a limited edition version of its Gallardo supercar. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain Limited Edition features a black paintwork, the racing model’s Countach-sized rear-wing and a unique engine cover. The car also has Skorpius alloy wheels with yellow-painted brake calipers and discs made from carbon-ceramic composite, while several external components, such as the diffuser and mirror casings are made from carbon-fiber. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain Limited Edition is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 570-horsepower that allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and reaches the 200 km/h (124 mph) mark only 6.8 seconds later. Audi has finally announced the Audi R8 Spyder V8 pricing for the UK market. The Audi R8 Spyder with EU5 compliant 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine and a six-speed manual or a six-speed R-tronic automated manual transmission is priced at £95,545 and £100,855, respectively. For your info, the V8 engine produces 430PS (316kW / 424bhp) at 7,900rpm, 430Nm (317 ft-lb) of torque from 4,500 to 6,000rpm. CGS Motorsports, a California-based company that specializes on high-performance exhaust and air intake systems, has recently released a teaser image of a customized 2011 Chevy Camaro. The CGS Motorsports-prepped Camaro will get an upgraded version of GM’s 6.2-liter V8 engine fitted with a Whipple twin-screw supercharger and one of the company’s cat-back exhaust systems, pumping out around 500-horse power. The car also benefits from Chris Alston’s Fab 9 rear end with a latter bar and coil over suspension, 22-inch alloys shod in Pirelli tires, a custom paint job, a ZR1 influenced hood, and a body kit by ACS. Aston Martin has launched the Special Edition V8 Vantage N420 that features a standard 4.7-liter V-8 engine with a six-speed manual or optional Sportshift automated manual transmission. This configuration produces a 420 horsepower and a top speed of 180mph.
