The all-new Mazda MX-5 “Miyako” will be released in the UK later this year in a limited number of 500 units. The 126HP 1.8i Miyako soft-top is priced at £18,385 (on the road), while the more powerful 160HP 2.0i Miyako roadster coupe with a folding hardtop is priced at £20,885 (on the road). The Miyako features larger 17-inch alloy wheels, standard fog lamps and a front suspension strut brace for improved steering response. Jaguar has released the Jaguar XKR 75, which is powered by a newly tuned engine, producing 530hp and 483 lb-ft of torque. The sports car accelerates from 0 to 60mph at just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 174mph. Exterior updates include a new Stratus Grey finish, red brake calipers that stand in contrast to the 20-inch gloss Vortex forged lightweight alloys with a dark technical finish and diamond turn. Becker retired in January 2010 after 44 years of service and to honor his input on Lotus vehicles, the company is offering a special-edition Elise and Exige known as the RGB Special Edition. The Elise SC RGB Special Edition has a supercharged 217 hp (220 ps) 1.8 liter engine which accelerate it from 0 to 60mph in 4.3 seconds (0 to 100kmh in 4.6 seconds). The Lotus Exige S RGB Special Edition uses the range topping 257 (260ps) supercharged and intercooled 1.8 liter engine which endows it with a 0-60 mph in around 4 seconds and a phenomenal aerodynamic downforce figure of 92.5 lbs (42 kg) at 100 mph (160 kmh). AMLS founder Don Panoz has recently unveiled the limited production Panoz Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans” that is dedicated the famous Le Mans race. The hand-built car is powered by an unspecified powertrain that will make 600-plus horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. There are only 81 units of the Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans” will be made, corresponding to the number of Le Mans 24 Hour contests between the inception of the race in 1923 and the race to be held in 2013.
