
Vygor today introduced the new Opera coupe. Weighing 1,500 kg (3,307 lbs), the sports car has an engine that develops 300 PS (221 kW / 296 hp) and 400 PS (294 kW / 395 hp). Mazda has announced that the special edition Mazda RX-8 Spirit R will go on sale from November 24, 2011 at all Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealerships in Japan. Available in Aluminum Metallic, Sparkling Black Mica, or Crystal White Pearl Mica, the sports car features a special Spirit R badge, side front and curtain airbags, black bezels for headlights, fog lights and taillights, and a piano black trim on the transmission tunnel. Ferrari has announced the pricing info for the 458 Spider. This sports car will be available next month in Europe for €226,800. Folks in the US are able to purchase the Ferrari 458 Spider in January 2012 for $257,000. As a reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider features an aluminum retractable hardtop and uses a 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces a 570 horsepower. [autoevolution]

The new version of Jensen Interceptor will be introduced in late 2012. This upcoming sports car is inspired by a GT-class car that was produced by Jensen Motors in the 60’s and 70’s.
