Hyundai has begun selling the all new Veloster in Australia. This sports coupe is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that is mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch (DCT) automatic transmission. Prices start at $23,990 for the manual Veloster and $25,990 for the DCT option, meanwhile, the Veloster+ starts at $27,990 for the manual and $29,990 for the DCT option. [Car Advice]
Lotus has announced the 2010 Lotus Evora price for the US market. Just a quick reminder, the car is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that outputs 276 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 160 mph and is capable of reaching 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. Meanwhile, the standard features include silver cast alloy wheels in size of 18-inches for the front and 19-inches at the back, Bi-Xenon headlights with a headlight washing system, rear wing and diffuser, air conditioning, Recaro black leather sport seats, Lotus command center with auxiliary trip computer, Alpine CD/MP3/WMA/AUX system and full iPod connectivity. Malaysian-based Bufori Motor Car is set to introduce their latest 2 door coupe for the Malaysian market. Dubbed as the Bufori CS, which stands for ‘Compact Sports’, this new sportscar features a monocoque body made from Carbon Fiber and Kevlar, and is equipped with a front mounted 4 cylinder 2.0L turbo-charged engine. Nissan Korea has officially launched its 2009 Nissan 370Z sports car in the Korean market. This sport coupe is powered by Nissan’s new 3.7-liter V6 engine with a 7-stepped automatic transmission that produces 332HP. The Nissan 370Z is priced at 56,800,000 Korean Won ($45,450). [AVING]
