Subaru has introduced the Subaru Boxer Sports Car at Geneva Motor Show. The new Subaru Boxer model will extract power from a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine. This future model is part of Subaru’s collaboration with Toyota. Based on the WRX STI sedan, the 2011 Subaru WRX STI tS features a carbon fiber roof, an aluminum hood, a front lip spoiler, an STI-tuned suspension, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Subaru WRX STI tS is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter Boxer engine with 227 kW (308 PS / 304 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. On the other hand, the A-Line tS uses a single-scroll turbocharged 2.5-liter with 221 kW (300 PS / 296 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The tS is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, while the A-Line is backed up by a five-speed automatic. The Subaru WRX STI tS is priced at 4,020,000 Yen ($48,000) and production is limited to 400 units. [WorldCarFans]

Here is a track test video of the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, which will be built in limited numbers. The Cosworth Subaru Impreza STI CS400 is powered by the standard 2.5-liter boxer engine with a 400PS and a 542Nm of torque. The Cosworth Subaru Impreza STI CS400 also features various suspension and brake upgrades for better handling. The official performance stats say the Impreza STI CS400 Cosworth needs only 3.7 seconds to get from 0 to 100 km/h with the top speed of 250 km/h. Subaru has recently unveiled their newest crossover, the 2011 Subaru Forester. Available in three different trim levels including the 2.5X Touring, 2.5XT Premium and 2.5XT Touring, this new crossover is equipped with a 2.5-liter engine coupled to either a manual or automatic transmission, capable of outputting 170 hp and 174 lb.-ft of torque. The car also comes with several interesting features including HID headlights (low beam) with automatic height adjustment, a display audio system with backup camera and dual zone automatic climate control. Subaru has showcased their newest concept car ‘Forester S-Edition’ at this year’s Australian International Motor Show. Based on the Forester XT, this new crossover is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine that outputs 259 hp and 347 Nm of torque. The car is also equipped with a paddleshift five-speed automatic gearbox, revised sports suspensions and a Variable Torque Distribution (VTD) all-wheel drive system. Other special features worth mentioning include exclusive styling accents on the interior, STI 17-inch alloy wheels, Alcantara seat trim with S-Edition logos, drilled alloy pedals and special badging.
