The new Subaru Forester 2.0D features a 2.0-liter boxer diesel engine with 144.8 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, and offers a 44.8 mpg fuel consumption along with 167 g/km CO2 emissions. The car is claimed to reach 60 mph in just 10 seconds with a top speed of 115.5 mph. The base price for the X manual version starts at £20,295 and goes up to £25,495 for the XSn manual model. Subaru has unveiled their new 2010 Legacy Touring Wagon for the japanese market. This new car comes in three engine options: a 2.5-liter SOHC, a 2.5-liter turbocharged DOHC and a 3.6-liter DOHC with 6 cylinders. The engine is matted to either one of three transmissions, which includes a Lineartronic gearbox, a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual transmission. Subaru is expected to showcase their new 2010 Legacy at the upcoming 2009 New York Auto Show. According to a post on AutoBlog, “the new 2010 Legacy will boast a 3.6-liter H6 as well as an upgraded 2.5-liter turbo powerplant with a more powerful turbo.
