Hennessey Performance Engineering has rolled out a new video of their Hennessey Venom GT in action. The video shows this Lotus Elise-based car in road testing in Britain near Silverstone. To remind you, this supercar is equipped with a highly modified 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine that outputs a total of 725 hp. Hennessey will also offer 1,000 hp and 1,200 twin turbo V8 engine variants as well. In terms of performance, the car has a top speed of 262 mph and is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds. Watch the video after the break. More»

Stile Bertone have unveiled their Project M supercar called the Bertone Mantide at the Shanghai Motor Show. This supercar is based on Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 platform but its entire body is completely new, composed mostly of carbon-fiber and magnesium. The car is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with dual superchargers that packs 777 hp and 727 Nm of torque. The engine itself is mated to a six speed semi-automatic transmission.
