
According to some international reports, Lamborghini will be selling their newest supercar ‘Sesto Elemento’ as early as October. However, there’s no word on pricing yet at the moment. Just a bit of info, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine taken from the Gallardo, producing 419kW of power and 539Nm of torque. Porsche has recently announced that dealers around the world will begin taking 918 Spyder customer orders. The 918 Spyder will feature a high revving 500-plus horsepower V8 engine assisted by two electric motors with a total of at least 218 horsepower. This supercar will consume only 3.0 L/100 km based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). To ensure the 918 Spyder’s worldwide exclusivity, Porsche will produce no more than 918 examples. Porsche will start the production of 918 Spyder at Porsche’s famed factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen on September 18th, 2013. The BAC MONO supercar is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.3-liter Cosworth engine, developing 280bhp. The manufacturer claims that the BAC MONO is able to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds or from 0 to 100mph in just 6.7 seconds. The aerodynamics of the BAC MONO are developed using CFD in partnership with the Stuttgart University. The supercar’s body is made from carbon fiber with a tubular steel driver safety cell, including a FIA-compliant roll over protection system. Additionally, the engine of the BAC MONO is mounted longitudinally and mated to an electronically-controlled, paddle-shift, six-speed sequential Hewland transmission with limited-slip differential. Lamborghini has finally the revealed the US pricing for their upcoming Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. In the US this supercar will be sold for $379,700 (suggested retail price – GGT included). Just to remind you, the Aventador LP700-4 will come with a carbon-fiber monocoque frame and feature a brand new 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 700 hp and 680 Nm of torque. [GlobalMotors]

McLaren has finally revealed the price for its upcoming supercar, the MP4-12C. In the UK the car will be sold for a starting price of 168,500 GBP (about $266,000), while in Europe the car will have a starting price of 200,000 Euro (about $267,000). To remind you, this supercar boasts a 3.8-liter V8 engine that outputs 600 hp and 433 lb-ft of torque. The car itself is scheduled to go on sale in the UK and Europe in Spring 2011. [AUSmotive]
