Nissan 2WD X-Trail Released In Australia

Nissan has recently released the two-wheel-drive version of its X-trail compact SUV in Australia. Available in two different trim levels: ST and ST-L, this compact SUV is equipped with a 136hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to either a manual or CVT automatic transmission. The car also comes with a number of standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, side airbags, roof curtain airbags, Bluetooth, handsfree phone system, MP3 player input, six-stack CD changer, steering-wheel mounted audio, phone and cruise controls as well as heated and cooled glove box. Toyota is set to launch their newest SUV ’2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser’ in Australia in March of 2011. Based on the Prado platform, the FJ Cruiser will come with a 4.0-liter V6 engine and a four-wheel-drive system. Meanwhile, standard features of the car will include air-conditioning, an eight-speaker six-CD sound system with Bluetooth and steering-wheel controls, and reversing camera which shows up in the rear-view mirror. Jeep has finally launched their newest SUV in Europe, the Grand Cherokee. Available only in Overland trim, this new SUV is offered in two different engine options including a 3.6-liter V6 with 286 hp and 347 Nm of torque and a 5.7-liter V8 with 352 hp and 520 Nm of torque, each paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, standard features include active bi-xenon headlights, sunroof, powered tailgate, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, traction control, stability control for trailer towing and seven airbags. Still remember the Lagonda concept which debuted at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show? Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez has said at an event in Amsterdam that the Lagonda concept is going to production. The Lagonda would be an all-wheel drive SUV, which would hold particular appeal in emerging markets such as China, Russia and the Middle East.
