
Suzuki has added a new diesel variant to its Suzuki Swift DDiS line-up. This new version of Suzuki Swift DDiS comes equipped with an all-new 1.3-liter turbo-diesel four cylinder engine that produces 55kW of power and has an average fuel consumption rating of just 3.5L/100km. Suzuki has announced another special edition car ‘SX4 SZ-L’ for the UK market. Available in two different color options: Silky Silver Pearl and Cosmic Black, the car comes with a new urban appearance, featuring a Gunmetal finish for the roof rails, front grille, alloy rims and front & rear skid plates. As for the interior, the car receives an Alacantra trim finished in light Grey, three spoke steering wheel that uses a leather finish with Gunmetal stitching and a dashboard-mounted CD changer with six discs. Finally, power comes from a 1.6-liter gasoline engine paired to a manual transmission that outputs a total of 120 hp. Suzuki’s UK division has released pricing and specification details for its all-new 2011 Swift Supermini. The 2011 Swift is available in SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4 grades, all of which get seven airbags and ESP as standard. The SZ2 model features with electric front windows, remote central door locking with deadlocks, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, an MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner with USB port and steering wheel mounted audio controls. The SZ3 model has manual air conditioning and 16-inch- alloys, while the SZ4 variant has an automatic air conditioning, Bluetooth integrated audio unit with music streaming capability, electric front and rear windows, a push button keyless start, automatic headlamps, rear privacy glass (five-door models) and cruise control as standard. Currently available in Japan and US, the Suzuki Kizashi mid-size sedan is finally making its way to Germany this coming Fall (October). This five-seater, four- door saloon will be offered only in one engine option at launch, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
