
Suzuki has recently unveiled the first details about its upcoming Swift Plug-In Hybrid. The car uses a compact 660cc petrol engine paired with a generator which is used to charge the lithium-ion battery in case the capacity level drops. The car can also be charged using a standard home electrical outlet in addition to the onboard gasoline generator. Suzuki has added a special edition model to its Swift line up by introducing the SZ-L. Featuring the same five-door model with 1.3-liter petrol engine, the SZ-L comes with a higher level of standard equipments when compared to the original version. The car features pearlescent or metallic paint, 15-inch alloy wheels, electrically retractable exterior mirrors, side protection mouldings, specific floor mats and chrome finish for exterior door handles, front grille and rear tailgate trim. Suzuki has expanded its SX4 range with the all new SX4 SportBack. This new model will feature no roof mounts, a new front bumper, a new grille, a revised rear spoiler along with a chin spoiler and side skirts. While, the interior parts will include new power windows and locks, a dual power rear view mirror set, a tiling steering wheel, folding rear seats and rear passenger floor vents. Underneath, you’ll find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission with 150 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment. Suzuki has officially revealed the production version of their upcoming Suzuki Kizashi sedan in a special launch event in Detroit. The car will be offered in both front- and all-wheel drive versions with a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine mated to either a 6 speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The standard features of this car will include an Electronic Stability Program, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and Suzuki’s developed synergetic vehicle dynamic control system that assists drivers control. Suzuki has added a new model to its Jimny line-up with the introduction of SZ4 for the UK market. Available in four different colors: Twilight Purple, Graphite Gray, Bluish Black and Nocturne Blue, the SZ4 features a new set of 15-inch wheels, a new silver roof tails, rear window privacy glass and some new leather upholstery. Suzuki has introduced two new models to its Suzuki Grand Vitara series in the form of the SZ 1.6 VVT and SZ 1.9 DDiS. The SZ 1.6 VVT is powered by a 1.6 liter petrol engine with 106 PS and 145 Nm of torque. As for the SZ 1.9 DDiS, power comes from a 1.9 diesel engine with 129 PS and 300 Nm of torque.
