
Suzuki has introduced two new models to its Suzuki Grand Vitara series in the form of the SZ 1.6 VVT and SZ 1.9 DDiS. The SZ 1.6 VVT is powered by a 1.6 liter petrol engine with 106 PS and 145 Nm of torque. As for the SZ 1.9 DDiS, power comes from a 1.9 diesel engine with 129 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has just launched its new premium hatchback called Ritz aka Splash. This compact car is available in two different power-train options: a 1.2-liter four cylinder petrol engine or a 1.3-liter four cylinder DDiS diesel engine. Bad news comes from Suzuki since the company has halted production at its CAMI joint-venture plant due to slow sales and the credit crisis.
