Here’s a look at the upcoming 2012 Toyota Aygo Facelift. This city car features a slender upper front grille, a wider front bumper with integrated foglights at each corner, a large trapezoidal air intake and optional LED daytime running lights. Under the hood, power comes from a three-cylinder 1.0-liter VVT-i petrol engine that outputs 67bhp and 93Nm of torque. The all new 2011 Toyota Yaris facelift is now available for purchase in Australia. This fuel-efficient hatchback is available in both 3-door and 5-door models along with three different trim levels: YR, YRS and ZR for the 3-door model or YR, YRS and YRX for the 5-door model. Coming in an all-new body, this facelifted Yaris features a new headlight, a single wiper system, a slightly extended body and revised front and rear bumpers. Toyota will launch the Pixis Space for the Japanese market. This car is actually a re-badged Daihatsu Move Conte. The Toyota Pixis Space is powered by a small 660cc engine, which is combined with the Dynamic Variable Valve Timing technology and a CVT transmission. No word on pricing or availability at this time. The 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid has just been showcased at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2012 model is distinguished by a new front bumper, a revised grille and LED headlights, clear taillights, silver accents and a rear-passenger side charger port. Under the hood, the car is powered by a 98 hp 1.8-liter petrol engine and a 81 hp electric motor (0 to 100 km/h in just 10.7 seconds / top speed 180 km/h). Toyota has recently unveiled the pricing of the 2012 Scion xD. Targeted towards young people, the new Scion xD features a 5.8-inch touchscreen display, an HD radio, an air conditioner, a tire-pressure monitoring, Bluetooth connectivity, a tilt steering wheel, a cruise control, and a unique steering wheel-mounted audio controls. This city car is powered by a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, which produces up to 128 horsepower.
