2009 Toyota iQ Revealed

Toyota showed off its super compact, C-segment iQ to the world in Geneva today. The iQ is called a 3+1, meaning it is capable of carrying up to three adults along with a child or luggage in comfort. The iQ measures 2,985mm in length with a 2,000mm wheelbase, which aids in both drivability and interior volume. At launch one engine will be available: a 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol unit with a choice of five-speed manual or a new Multidrive CVT system. The IQ will go on sale late 2008, with production expected to be around 100,000 units during its first year. [TopSpeed]
