Toyota has launched another limited edition car ‘Rukus Halo’ in Australia. Based on the entry-level Rukus Build 1 model, the Halo comes in a unique Voodoo Blue paint finish and features a tilt-and-slide moonroof and a reversing camera. Toyota Prius C Concept On Video

Toyota has recently unveiled the Prius C concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Prius C is a small entry-hybrid that features an aerodynamic design and a minimalist interior with circular controls. The company says the production model will be the “most value-oriented hybrid in the U.S.” and have the highest mileage among non plug-in hybrid vehicles. Watch the video after the jump. More»

Here’s a glance at another upcoming minivan from Toyota, the Toyota Prius V. Introduced at this year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, this minivan is equipped with a 1.8-liter four cylinder petrol engine and an electric-driven motor that runs on batteries. The car also boasts four different driving mode setting including Normal, Power, Eco and EV, just like the current Toyota Prius hatch. Toyota is planning on launching the Toyota Prius V in the US during the second half of 2011, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Car Advice]

Toyota is set to launch their newest SUV ’2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser’ in Australia in March of 2011. Based on the Prado platform, the FJ Cruiser will come with a 4.0-liter V6 engine and a four-wheel-drive system. Meanwhile, standard features of the car will include air-conditioning, an eight-speaker six-CD sound system with Bluetooth and steering-wheel controls, and reversing camera which shows up in the rear-view mirror. Toyota USA has announced retail prices for the 2011 Corolla and the upcoming 2011 Matrix. The new facelifted 2011 Corolla has received several minor exterior and interior appointments and is offered in three trim levels (Corolla, LE and S). The new Corolla has a redesigned front grille, new bumpers, wheel designs and chrome accents. On the inside, the sedan provides an upgraded heater, as part of an all-weather package. Additionally, LE variants have metallic trim, heated mirrors, cruise control, remote keyless entry, better stereo and variable intermittent windshield wipers. All trim levels feature a comprehensive safety package that consists of Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Smart Stop Technology brake override system. The 2011 Corolla will hit the market in January 2011, followed by the Matrix in Spring next year. The 2011 Toyota Corolla is priced at $15,600 upwards, while the Toyota Matrix retails for $18,545.
