Ford has released two promotional videos of the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500. The new GT500 is powered by an all new 102 pounds lighter 5.4L supercharged V8 engine that produces 550-hp (an increase of 10-hp) with a maximum torque of 510 lb-ft. The 2011 Shelby GT500 gets a new exhaust with a more aggressive sound than the 2010 model. The 2.75-inch exhaust also helped in delivering the additional 10-hp. Renault has released a new video of their upcoming Megane Coupe-Cabriolet. In case you didn’t remember, the car will be offered in six different engine options which include three petrol engines (1.6 16V 110hp, TCe 130 (Turbo Control efficiency), 2.0 16V 140hp) and three diesel engines (dCi 110 DPF, dCi 130 DPF, dCi 160 DPF) along with three different transmission options: a six-speed manual, a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a new six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dual-clutch automatic. Hennessey Performance Engineering has rolled out a new video of their Hennessey Venom GT in action. The video shows this Lotus Elise-based car in road testing in Britain near Silverstone. To remind you, this supercar is equipped with a highly modified 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine that outputs a total of 725 hp. Hennessey will also offer 1,000 hp and 1,200 twin turbo V8 engine variants as well. Aston Martin has released a new video presentation of the all new Rapide. The video was filmed during the media presentation in the city of Valencia in Spain earlier this month. As a reminder, the Rapide is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine that outputs 477-horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
