Volkswagen has introduced the five-door version of its Up! Just like the three-door version, this new model is also equipped with a three-cylinder 1.0-liter petrol engine with BlueMotion tech, that includes a stop/start system. The Volkswagen E-Bugster concept has been unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The car is powered by a 114-hp/199-lb-ft electric motor, a single-speed transmission, a 695-pound lithium-ion battery that offers about 100 miles of range, and a charging port that is located in the front. Volkswagen has released another special edition car in Germany called the Volkswagen Passat Exclusive. Coming in both sedan and wagon variants, the Passat Exclusive is equipped with a set of 18-inch light alloy Vicenza wheels and comes with a 15mm suspension lowering. As for the interior, the car is equipped with a black leather steering wheel with Piano black lacquer and features Nappa leather finish in Chocolate Brown with a Pepper Beige contrasting stitching complemented by wood trims. This compact car comes in three different trim levels including Beetle, Design and Sport, and has two different engine options: a 1.2-liter TSI with 105PS mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and a 1.4-liter TSI with 160PS mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Prices ranging from 16,490 GBP (about $26,000) for the entry-level Beetle 1.2-liter TSI 105PS 7 spd DSG model and goes up to 21,220 (about $33,500) for the top of the range Sport 1.4-liter TSI 160PS 6 spd manual model.
