Volkswagen has added a special edition version to its Tiguan line-up by launching the Volkswagen Tiguan Track & Avenue. The car is offered in two different engine options including a 2.0 TSI engine with 200 hp and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with either 140 hp or 170 hp. Both engines can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. In addition, the car also features 19-inch alloy wheels, wheel flares, a silver-colored diffuser, front fog lights, Bi-Xenon headlights and new leather upholstery for the interior parts. Volkswagen has unveiled the Final Edition of the New Beetle coupe and convertible. The Final Editions boast an exclusive Aquarius Blue paint job, 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport suspension, special badging, and an individually numbered steering wheel. These cars are equipped with a 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder petrol engine that produces 150 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Both models will be released in the spring of 2010. Volkswagen and its Chinese partner Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) have introduced the redesigned Tiguan SUV at the 7th Annual International Auto Show in Guangzhou, China. The Chinese version features a new grille that extends to the headlights and a re-profiled front bumper, a new three-spoke steering wheel and the redesigned instrument panel that features two central gauges incorporating two smaller dials. VW is gearing up to release the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup Street Edition for the US market. Based on the concept shown off at SEMA 2008, the Jetta TDI Cup Street Edition adopts a 2.0-liter clean diesel engine that develops 140 hp and 236 ft-lb of torque. Volkswagen UK today unveiled the pricing details for the R-line versions of the Golf and Scirocco. The Scirocco is priced at £26,945 ($44,257), while the Golf comes with a higher price tag of £28,930 ($47,518). Both cars come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but if you want the DSG transmission, you should add £1,300 ($2,135) more to either car.
