
Volvo has just added a new trim level ‘T5′ to its S60 mid-size sedan line-up. Available only in the US, this new model is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbo engine (w/ six speed automatic transmission) that outputs a total of 250 hp. Heico Sportiv today released the first drawings and illustrations of their package for the 2011 Volvo S60. Exterior mods include lip spoilers on both corners of the front bumper, side skirts, a discreet boot lid spoiler and a rear apron housing a diffuser. The new exhaust tail pipes and Heico’s own alloy wheels will also be part of the package. Volvo today unveiled the brand new 2011 Volvo V60 sports wagon (station wagon), which comes with the company’s critically acclaimed Pedestrian Detection with full auto brake. This new feature can detect when a pedestrian steps out into the road in front of the car. If the driver does not respond in time, the car can automatically activate the brakes. What’s more, the car also features Advanced Stability Control, Corner Traction Control, Crash Avoidance System and a City Safety. The 2011 Volvo V60 will be available with three diesel engines and five gasoline units. The diesel lineup kicks off with a 1.6 D DRIVe 4-cylinder unit making 115-hp and 199 lb-ft of torque and tops out with a 2.4 5-cylinder making 205-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The gasoline lineup starts off with a 1.6L T3 4-cylinder making 150-hp and 177 lb-ft of torque with the range-topping model powered by a 3.0L T6 6-cylinder making 304-hp and 324 lb-ft of torque.
