The truck is powered by either an 11-liter powerplant capable of anywhere between 330 and 450 horsepower or a 13-liter lump with 380-500 horsepower depending on configuration. Prices for the mid-size sedan range from £23,295 ($35,925) for the entry-level D3 ES (163PS) up to £36,745 ($56,663) for the top-of-the-range T6 AWD SE Lux Geartronic Premium. The range of engines you get with the S60 includes a five-cylinder 2.0-liter D3 with 163hp and 400Nm of torque which averages 54.3mpg, a twin-turbo D5 with 205hp and 420Nm of torque and 53 mpg fuel economy, and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine that generates 304hp and 440 Nm of torque with fuel economy of 28.5 mpg. Volvo has released several new details on their upcoming 2011 S60 sedan for the US market. Based on the informations we got, the S60 will be equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged T6 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic Geartronic transmission that generates 300 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. 0 to 60 mph can be reached in 6.2 seconds with a top speed rated at 155 mph. Meanwhile, safety features will include Advanced Stability Control, Corner Traction Control for tighter cornering, City Safety (car automatically brakes if the driver fails to react in time when the vehicle in front slows down or stops) and Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake.
