TUM MUTE Concept

The Technical University of Munich will introduce the MUTE car concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. This electric vehicle uses a 22 PS (16.5 kW / 22 hp) electric motor, which is powered by a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery. This electric motor also distributes power to the rear wheels via a torque vectoring differential. This engine configuration allows the MUTE to accelerate from 0-60km/h (37mph) in 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 120km/h (75mph). Stay tuned for more updates. [Auto Bild]
