Volvo Recalls 2013 Volvo S80 And XC70

Volvo has decided to recall the 2013 Volvo S80 and XC70 due to a software error in possibly 300 units of these Volvos. This software error will result in the “TPMS Service Required” message appearing after approximately 15 minutes of accumulated driving over 25 mph. A malfunctioning TPMS won’t be able to notify a driver if a tire is underinflated, which could lead to a blowout. Volvo will notify owners of these affected cars. Dealers will reprogram the vehicle’s TPMS for free. [Autoblog]
