Volvo XC60 Plug-in Hybrid Concept

Volvo will unveil its XC60 plug-in hybrid concept at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The car uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine that powers the front wheels and an electric motor that drives the rear wheels. This engine combination produces a 350 horse power, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 Mph in only 5.8 seconds. The Volvo XC60 also features an eight-speed automatic transmission and a 12 kWh battery that is located beneath the cargo area. [MotorTrend]
